La revedere Moldova!

I'm down to the last few days of service here in Balti, and it feels so strange.  Increasingly more people have contacted me saying that they really appreciate the work that I've done with their organizations and/or communities.  They're so sincere, and it's so gratifying to hear!  But it also tugs at my heart strings.  I know I will miss these wonderful people.  I've tried to cram in as much time to see various parts of Moldova that I hadn't experienced before - with my Moldovan team and with my fellow Peace Corps brothers and sisters with whom I will always have a heartfelt link.

A retrospective of my two years in this bucolic country, with assorted photos that highlight the activities during my stay, in no particular order.  In reviewing hundreds and hundreds of photos, I'm leaving out scores of memory shots, but all of them will continue to evoke warm and affectionate recollections of my amazing time in Moldova!

  1. Great distillation of >2 years' of photos and memories of your PCV experience in Moldova! Best of all are the relationships you've established to continue the work on the ground and the new friendships that will continue despite distance and time zones. Family's so proud of you, big sister. Can't wait to welcome you home, Barbara! XOX
